Oriya

The Oriya script is a writing system used to write the Oriya language, as well as several other languages in the state of Odisha in India. It is an abugida, which means that each consonant has an inherent vowel sound and other vowels are indicated by diacritical marks. The Oriya script is part of the Unicode standard, which is a standardized character encoding system that allows computers to store and display text in a wide variety of scripts and languages. The script is believed to have evolved from the Brahmi script and has a rich history and cultural significance in the region.
