List of Unicode Groups and Block Ranges

Unicode is a standardized encoding system for representing text in computers and other devices. It assigns a unique number, called a code point, to each character in a character set. Unicode groups and blocks are ways of organizing and categorizing the code points.

Unicode groups are broad categories that group together code points with similar characteristics. Some examples of Unicode groups include alphabetical characters, punctuation, symbols, and emoji.

Unicode blocks are smaller, more specific ranges of code points that are used to represent specific characters or character sets. For example, there is a block for basic Latin characters, another block for Greek characters, and another block for Chinese characters.

Each code point is assigned to a specific Unicode block based on the character or set of characters it represents. This organization allows for efficient encoding and decoding of text, as well as easier search and retrieval of specific characters.
