Inscriptional Pahlavi
The Inscriptional Pahlavi block is a block of the Unicode standard that contains characters used to write the Inscriptional Pahlavi language, an extinct Middle Iranian language spoken by the ancient Pahlavans in what is now Iran. The Inscriptional Pahlavi script is a writing system known as the Pahlavi script, with each symbol representing a specific sound in the Inscriptional Pahlavi language. This block contains all the symbols needed to write Inscriptional Pahlavi text, as well as a number of punctuation marks and other symbols. The Inscriptional Pahlavi block is often used in conjunction with other Unicode blocks to represent Inscriptional Pahlavi text in digital form.
